
A devastating fire outbreak in Southern Rwanda has claimed the life of one child and left two others seriously injured after a residential house caught fire in Huye District.
The tragic incident occurred in Nyarurembo Village, Gitwa Cell, Tumba Sector, located in Huye. According to local residents, the fire rapidly engulfed the house while the children were inside.
One child died at the scene, while the two survivors were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Residents in the area suspect that the fire may have been intentionally started by an unidentified individual, although authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the incident.
The Rwanda National Police has launched investigations to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the deadly fire.
Community members expressed shock and sorrow following the incident, calling for thorough investigations and stronger measures to prevent similar tragedies in residential areas.
